Transportation & Maps

Glacier Gardens is centrally located and easily accessible by all types of transportation. We are located one mile from the Juneau International Airport and seven miles from the downtown Juneau cruise ship docks.

The Capital Transit bus drops you off directly in front of the entrance to Glacier Gardens at the Gastineau Humane Society/Glacier Gardens stop. The fare is $2 each way, and you will need exact change. You want to take bus route #3 or #4 going to the Mendenhall Valley, and then returning to downtown Juneau (the bus schedule can be found here). Taxi service is available from any location and most hotels offer complimentary shuttle service. Ask our staff for the bus schedule or to call you a taxi, we’re happy to help.
